About Jerry JImenez
Born into a soccer loving family, Jerry followed Club Deportivo Chivas Guadalajara in Liga MX growing up. HIS father was and continues to be a big chivas fan. He was exposed to Major League Soccer much later in life by his best friend, David Baron, and was hooked! Jerry is a current member of the Black Army 1850 which is a soccer supporter group for the Los Angeles Football Club. He chooses to be an LAFC Original because of the opportunity to start with a team from the ground level, building the team #shouldertoshoulder with others. Being a part of a club's history was very enticing so here you have him! His Mother is from Mexicali and Father from Zacatecas. Jerry was born in imperial valley which makes Jerry a first generation Chicano. He moved to America's Finest City at the age of eleven after his father was offered a job there. Journeyman Plumber by day and nerd Superhero by night, Jerry can play five musical instruments pretty well and two others not so well (he studied music in college). He enjoys all geeky things like Star Wars, Comic Books, and Collecting. He lives in San Diego, California with his wife, Nydia, his son, Diego, and two dogs, Apollo & Ox.
